Edna Lee is a fully registered Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Edna is experienced in working with populations across the lifespan - including children, adolescents, adults, and our elderly. Edna invites you into a compassionate warm, and supportive space, and as a therapist she is authentic, non-judgmental and kind. She highly values putting her clients and their goals at the centre of her practice. She achieves this through ongoing collaboration with her clients to ensure their voices, needs and hopes provide direction for the therapeutic process, while she gently and respectfully walks alongside providing support towards inner healing, self-appreciation, and growth.

Clinical Specialities

Edna has worked with people with physical and developmental disabiltiies and her areas of clinical interest and experience include (but not limited to) trauma from sexual and physical violence, anxiety issues, depression, stress, self-esteem/worth, relational difficulties, anger management, parenting concerns, grief and loss.

Taking an eclectic and individually tailored approach to counselling, Edna provides evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Problem Solving Therapy, Schema Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (TF-CBT). Edna is also an accredited facilitator of the Triple P Positive Parenting Program (Level 4 Group Stepping Stones), and dependent on client choice, Edna could also provide counselling from a Christian based lens. Alongside her clients in the courageous steps they take towards change and growth, Edna continually engages in professional development and training opportunities to support her work with you.
